Jeff, Flyprincess, Riverwalker, Brookie Mastah (aka Fin) and myself fished Moody pond last night. We had a BBQ planned to go down at some point.

Great overcast day and lucky we moved the gathering to an earlier time and fished right away….All landed fish and I know Fin, RW and Jeff hauled in some HOGS!

The Giant traveling sedge was hatching (faux hex), they are monster caddis that turn up their wings once they emerge and look just like a hex from a distance. This is the biggest fly on Moody size 12-10.

FOOD……Burgers with grilled onions, potato w/ dill, coleslaw, and fresh lettuce salads and chips…

My 80+ year old neighbor and (managing partner of Moody) who introduced me to fly fishing came to join in on the festivities…

Just as we finished eating it started to rain….I was hoping for a second round on the pond but after a good time OTW and good food everyone was happy to call it quits.

Thanks FP & Jeff for making a trip to Moody and bringing some grub, that meal was delish….Though I think I may have pyrited the second batch of burgers…

Thanks all for the fantastic company and the many laughs - I truly enjoyed it….my voice is actually hoarse today
