Hit the lower section of the Ellis yesterday, it was still running a bit high from the rain, nice stretch near Rt302……
The water is up about 2ft - it’s been running at ankle deep during our brief drought. Found fish right away, feisty trout!
This bow had amazing colors!
All took a dry golden stone…

Well, I was on my way to the Andro and decided to stop and fish a tourist destination while it was raining and no tourists were around.
Glen Ellis Falls, beautiful 64 foot waterfall and in my opinion best viewed on a rainy day!

I have driven by this section of river hundreds of times and each time I do I say to myself, I should fish that. The honey hole, my real destination, you can only get a very brief glimpse of from the road. If ya blinked you would never know it was there.
